Asbestos Abatement and hazardous materials remediation of numerous buildings throughout the East Bank of the Pascagoula Shipbuilding facility. ESA South, Inc. was charged with the preparation of buildings for complete teardown, demolition and disposal. Sweep (to identify, to isolate, to remove and to dispose) of all asbestos, chemicals, oils, solvents, materials classified as hazardous throughout each building scheduled for demolition on the East Bank of the Pascagoula Shipbuilding facility.

The management team at ESA South has been providing safe and efficient asbestos abatement for nearly 25 years. Prior to beginning any project, a detailed written plan is developed that addresses each step to be taken for every phase of the project. Our client’s particular concerns and daily work schedules are taken into account in order to minimize disruption in the client’s office and projects to be completed quickly, efficiently, and with a limited amount of down time and inconvenience to the customer’s operations.

Lead based paint is an increasing environmental concern. Studies have shown that inhaling or ingesting lead dust from deteriorating lead base paint can cause elevated blood lead levels, which can eventually cause lead poisoning. ESA’s experience in the field of lead based paint abatement affords us the ability to abate lead via blasting, chemically stripping and mechanical/hand tool cleaning.
